How to book
The traveller must request availability for the selected date by email or phone.
Once we confirm availability, we will send you a quote attached, indicating the deposit required to confirm the booking. This deposit must be paid within 48 hours by direct deposit, bank transfer, credit card or PayPal (5% surcharge). The remaining amount must be paid in cash upon arrival at our centre, where a surcharge may also apply depending on the payment method.
If the client has not been able to make the deposit within 48 hours from the moment we send the email with the booking quote and availability confirmation, they must contact us again to verify the availability of the requested places. Otherwise, Calima Surf will not be responsible for possible overbookings.
Modifications valid for the surf camp and equipment rental
Modifications can be requested upon arrival at the school, but changes cannot reduce the number of participants, days or the total price of the original booking.
If reductions are requested, Calima reserves the right not to refund any amount.
Modifications valid for surf lessons
You can change the day or time of the activity.

SURF CAMP
Cancellation by the participant / No-show
-No refund will be made if the participant does not show up.
-Reductions in days, participants or total price are not allowed.
Exceptions
- Cancellation at least 30 business days in advance:
The amounts paid will be refunded minus €35 in administration fees. - Cancellation between 7 and 30 business days before the start of the camp:
There will be no cash refund, but the amount paid will be kept as a voucher for a future booking, valid for up to 12 months and transferable to third parties.
The student may choose new dates, subject to availability. - Cancellation less than 7 business days before the start:
There will be no right to a refund or voucher.
A full penalty will be applied as administration fees.
Cancellation by the company
If Calima cancels for internal reasons (e.g. lack of instructors): 100% refund.
If the cancellation is due to adverse sea conditions (waves that are too big, dangerous currents or unsafe conditions for surfing): The option to reschedule the activity for another date or receive a voucher valid for 12 months, transferable to third parties, will be offered.
SURF LESSONS (SINGLE LESSONS OR PACKAGES)
Cancellation by the participant / No-show
No refunds will be made if the participant does not show up.
Reductions in days, participants or total price are not allowed.
In the event of a no-show without prior notice, the participant loses any right to compensation.
Exceptions
Cancellation with at least 24 hours’ notice: The option to reschedule the activity for another date or receive a voucher valid for 12 months, transferable to third parties, will be offered.
Accident during the lesson, upon presentation of a medical certificate: Voucher for the remaining lessons.
Cancellation by the company
Internal reasons: 100% refund.
Adverse sea conditions (big waves, dangerous currents, unsafe conditions): Another date for the activity will be proposed or a voucher valid for 12 months, transferable to third parties, will be issued.
EQUIPMENT RENTAL
Cancellation by the participant
There is no refund once the rental period has started.
If cancelled with at least 24 hours’ notice: The option to reschedule the activity for another date or receive a voucher valid for 12 months, transferable to third parties, will be offered.
No-show
No refund or compensation.
Cancellation by the company
If Calima is unable to provide the equipment: 100% refund.
EXTERNAL ACTIVITIES (YOGA, KITESURF, DIVING, ETC.)
For these activities, Calima acts only as an intermediary.
No refunds are made by Calima, and we adhere to the cancellation policy of each provider company.
It is recommended to book these activities close to the desired date, to ensure they can be carried out depending on sea and weather conditions.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Surf instructors are not responsible for handling cancellations, changes or incidents.
