Typical Surf Course Schedule:
- 09:00 Pickup at the Hotel
- 09:50 Arrival at Calima Surf School
- 10:00 The lesson begins at the beach! Warm-up, stretching, easy exercises, theory and practice on the beach… and then in the water!
- 12:00 – 12:30 Relaxation time to rest
- 12:30 – 14:30 Back in the water! Surfing with personal attention and correction of individual errors
- 14:30 Return to Calima Surf School and back to the hotel

Our One-on-One Surf Lessons, ranging from 1 to 10 days, offer a personalized approach to learning. You will have a dedicated instructor who will focus exclusively on your progress, ensuring that you receive the best possible guidance. Start from scratch or build on your existing skills – our lessons are designed to meet your needs.
Each session lasts 2 hours. Our comprehensive lessons include both theoretical and practical components, allowing you to apply what you’ve learned under the watchful eye of our expert instructors. All necessary surf equipment is provided, so you can focus solely on enjoying the waves.
With our Personal Surf Coaching, you’ll quickly enhance your technique and gain confidence in the water. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to surf in one of the most beautiful locations in the Canary Islands.
Surf Lessons for Kids Packages
Children over 10 years old can enjoy our surf lessons designed specifically for them. In these 2-hour surf lessons, you will learn everything you need to know about surfing, including safety and liability measures, from our team of experienced instructors and certified lifeguards.
To ensure optimal and safe learning, groups will have a maximum of 8 students. This ensures a more efficient learning process and allows for closer and more personalized attention.

We offer surf lessons and courses for children over 10 years old, whether they have previous experience or are starting from scratch. In these 2-hour surf lessons, students will learn everything they need to know to surf, including safety and responsibility measures, from our team of experienced instructors and certified lifeguards.
FUNCIONAL SURFING BALANCE
Discover an innovative way to learn to surf with our courses. The DrySurf Training System makes it possible to learn from the very first day and helps you improve your technique regadless of your level.
With the DrySurf Training System you’ll be able to practice your take off 40 o 60 times in one hour session. This is equal to almost one week of normal lessons, in fully working conditions.
It helps you correct bad postures and miskates. It also makes it possible to be closer to your instructors, who will help you to correct mistakes on the go and much more effectively.
You can try this new system in our exclusive gym. Over 150 square meters of space within the natural reserve of Famara.
